This "New and Improved" site is for elementary students who are learning to play the recorder. At each level, there are several options to earn karate belts. There are also bonus-bead pieces, and even GOLD BEAD Challenge pieces to master. These are optional, but learning them will give the player more practice and confidence. Because this site is used with my 3rd and 4th graders, I have purposefully included at least six options at each level so that I can differentiate my instruction and use these resources several years.
